Samsung Galaxy A50 - Remove Saved Fingerprints

Note Notes:

  • A fingerprint is utilized to unlock the device.
  • For the fingerprint scanner to operate, hands must be clean and free of moisture, dirt, oil, lotion, dyes, etc.
  • Up to 3 fingerprints can be registered on the device.

 

  1. From a Home screen, swipe up from the center of the display to access the apps screen.
    Note These instructions only apply to Standard mode and the default Home screen layout.
  2. Navigate: Settings Settings icon > Biometrics and security.
  3. Tap Fingerprints.
    Note If presented, enter the current PIN, password, or pattern.
  4. Select the fingerprint to remove.
    Note To select all, touch and hold a fingerprint until selected then tap All (upper-left).
    Note When selected, a blue checkmark will appear to the left of the fingerprint.
  5. Tap Remove (upper-right).
  6. To confirm, review the disclaimer then tap Remove.
