Samsung Galaxy A10e - Delete Messages

Note Follow the steps below to delete a message or conversation.

Delete a Message

  1. From a Home screen, swipe up or down from the center of the display to access the apps screen.
    Note These instructions only apply to Standard mode and the default Home screen layout.
  2. Tap Messages Messages icon.
    Note If prompted to change the default SMS app, tap YES to confirm.
  3. From the Inbox, tap the applicable conversation.
  4. Tap the Menu icon Menu icon (upper-right) then tap Delete message.
  5. Select the message(s).
    Note Message is marked for deletion when the icon changes to a checkmark.
    Note Tap All (upper-left) to delete all messages.
  6. Tap the Delete icon Delete icon (bottom).
  7. To confirm, tap Delete.

Delete a Conversation

  1. From a Home screen, swipe up or down from the center of the display to access the apps screen.
    Note These instructions only apply to Standard mode and the default Home screen layout.
  2. Tap Messages Messages icon.
    Note If prompted to change the default SMS app, tap YES to confirm.
  3. From the Inbox, tap the Menu icon Menu icon (upper-right) then tap Edit.
  4. Select the conversation(s).
    Note Conversation is marked for deletion when the icon changes to a checkmark.
    Note Tap All (upper-left) to delete all conversations.
  5. Tap the Delete icon Delete icon (lower-right).
  6. To confirm, tap Delete.
    Note If desired, select (check) Block number to reject future messages from the sender.
