Samsung Galaxy A10e - Manage Data Usage

 

Note Notes:

  • Data usage info provided by the device may differ from actual usage. For data usage info provided by Verizon, call #DATA (#3282) from the device or refer to the My Verizon website.

  1. From a Home screen, swipe up from the center of the display to access the apps screen.
    Note These instructions only apply to Standard mode and the default Home screen layout.
  2. Navigate: Settings Settings icon > Connections > Data usage.
  3. Tap Billing cycle and data warning.
  4. Do any of the following:
    • Change Data Usage Cycle:
      1. Tap Start billing cycle on.
      2. Set the date to match the first day of your billing cycle then tap Set.
        Note Refer to the My Verizon website for billing cycle date.
    • Set Mobile Data Warning:
      Note A notification message appears upon reaching the specified data usage level indicated by the orange warning line.
      1. Tap Set data warning to turn on On switch icon.
      2. Tap Data warning.
      3. Enter the desired level (e.g., 2.0 GB, etc.) then tap Set.
    • Set Mobile Data Limit:
      Caution Mobile / Cellular data is disabled upon reaching the specified data limit. To continue to use apps that require a data connection (e.g., Browser, Email, etc.), Wi-Fi can be used or the mobile data limit must be manually adjusted (overage charges may apply).
      1. Tap the Limit mobile data usage switch to turn on.
        Note If prompted, review the message then tap OK.
      2. Tap Data limit.
      3. Enter the desired level (e.g., 2.0 GB, etc.) then tap Set.
