Samsung Galaxy A20 - Auto Switch Between Wi-Fi & Mobile Data Networks

To automatically switch from a weak or unstable Wi-Fi network to the Verizon Wireless cellular network to preserve a consistent data connection, view this info.

Note Notes:

  • When enabled, this advanced setting allows the device to switch from a weak or unstable Wi-Fi network to the Verizon Wireless cellular network to preserve consistent data throughput.
  • This function isn't enabled by default; the device prompts the user to enable the feature the first time they experience poor Wi-Fi connectivity Weak Wi-Fi icon.

 

Caution When connected to the Verizon Wireless cellular network, data overage charges may apply (depending upon data plan). For data usage info, refer to the My Verizon website.

  1. From a Home screen, swipe up from the center of the display to access the apps screen.
    Note These instructions only apply to Standard mode and the default Home screen layout.
  2. Navigate: Settings Settings icon > Connections > Wi-Fi.
  3. Tap Advanced (upper-right).
  4. Tap Switch to mobile data to turn on On switch icon or off Off switch icon.
