Samsung Galaxy A20 - Manually Add a Wi-Fi Network

Note Wi-Fi network info is required to complete several steps. Refer to the network admin for assistance.

  1. From a Home screen, swipe up from the center of the display to access the apps screen.
    Note These instructions only apply to Standard mode and the default Home screen layout.
  2. Navigate: Settings Settings icon > Connections > Wi-Fi.
  3. Ensure the Wi-Fi switch (upper-right) is turned on On switch icon.
  4. Tap Add network (at the bottom).
  5. From the 'Network name' field, enter the appropriate name.
  6. From the 'Security' field, tap the Dropdown menu Dropdown menu icon.
  7. Tap the appropriate security option:
    Note If using an 'Open network' (None), skip to step 9.
    • None
    • WEP
    • WPA/WPA2-Personal
    • 802.1x EAP
  8. From the 'Password' field, enter the appropriate password.
    Note To view the password as it is being entered, tap the Show password icon Show password icon.
  9. Ensure additional settings (e.g., EAP method, CA certificate, etc.) are configured appropriately (if applicable) then tap SAVE (lower-right).
