Samsung Galaxy Note10 - Move Music Files from Device

This helps you move or transfer music between your device and a computer/PC.

Caution Only DRM free or unprotected music can be transferred via this method.

Note Notes:

  1. Connect the device to a computer using the supplied USB cable.
  2. When prompted to allow access to your data, tap Allow.
    1. If necessary, touch and hold the Status bar (at the top) then drag to the bottom.
      Note The image below is an example.

    2. From the 'Android System' section, select Tap for other USB options.
    3. Select Transferring files.
      Note Selected when a blue dot is present.
  3. Open 'File Explorer' or 'Windows Explorer'.
    Note Using the computer keyboard, press Windows+E ( Windows key logo+E) keys.
    Note Alternatively, right-click Start then click 'Open Windows Explorer' or 'File Explorer'.
  4. Using 'File' or 'Windows Explorer', navigate: Galaxy Note10 > Phone.
    Note Device name reflects your device model (e.g., Galaxy Note10+, Galaxy Note10+ 5G).
    Note Galaxy Note10 is listed under the 'This PC' section.
    Note If the music files are stored on the memory card, navigate: Galaxy Note10 > Card then choose the location of the files.
  5. Utilize the computer to copy music files from the music folder to the desired location on the computer's hard drive.
  6. Disconnect the USB cable from the computer.
