Samsung Galaxy Note10 - Set Lock Screen Notifications

Lock screen notifications for apps (e.g., text messages, Snapchat®, etc.) can be customized to be shown or hidden when your screen is locked.

Note If a Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync® account is set up on the device, notifications are off by default.

  1. From a Home screen, swipe up or down from the center of the display to access the apps screen.
    Note These instructions only apply to Standard mode and the default Home screen layout.
  2. Navigate: Settings Settings icon > Lock screen Lock screen icon.
  3. Tap Notifications.
  4. Tap the Notifications switch (upper-right) to turn on Switch on or off Switch off.
    Note This setting is only available if a screen lock is set up.
    Note When on, configure any of the following:
    • View style (e.g., Detailed, Icons only, Brief, etc.)
    • Hide content
      Note Tap to turn on or off.
    • Transparency
      Note Slide the blue bar left or right to adjust the level while viewing the preview at the top.
      Note Doesn't appear when 'View style' is set to 'Icons only'.
    • Show on Always on Display
      Note Tap to turn on or off.
      Note Reverses the color of notification text based on background color.
      Note Doesn't appear when 'View style' is set to 'Icons only'.
