Diagnostics - Verizon Wireless MiFi® 2200

  1. Access the Verizon Wireless MiFi 2200 Personal Hotspot page.
    Launch a web browser then navigate to 192.168.1.1.
    Refer to Connecting to a Wi-Fi network for additional assistance. Select the appropriate option:
    VZAccess Manager
    Macintosh OS X
    Windows 7
    Windows Vista
    Windows XP
  2. Enter the password then click Login.
    The default password is admin.
  3. From the Advanced menu select Diagnostics.

  4. Select one of the following:
    System Information
    System Status
    Global Traffic Counters
    Restart
    Reset to Factory Defaults

  • AP / Router
    Manufacturer
    Access Point / Router manufacturer.
    Model
    Access Point / Router model identifier
    Serial Number
    Access Point / Router serial number
  • 3G Modem
    ESN
    Electronic serial number
    MDN
    Mobile directory number
  • Version
    AP
    The Access Point firmware version.
    Router
    The Router firmware version.
    Modem
    The Modem firmware version

System Status

  • Select Modem Status to view the following modem statistics:
    MDN
    ESN (decimal)
    ESN (hex)
    Channel
    P_REV Indicator
    PRL ID
    Band Class Type
    ERI Version
    Dormancy
    Signal - EVDO
    Signal - 1X
    Battery Level
    Battery Charging
  • Select System Log to view the log file.
    System log must be enabled, refer to Configuring Advanced Settings for additional assistance.

  • Global Traffic Counters
    These counters record incoming and outgoing Internet traffic. They continue incrementing until restarted.
    Restart
    Restarts the device. All Internet connections and Wi-Fi connections, will be lost during the restart.
    Reset to Factory Defaults
    Resets all Access Point and Router settings to factory default values. All existing settings will be lost.
