Locate a Family Member - Family Locator Website

Caution Effective 5/13/19, Family Locator will be discontinued and transitioned to Verizon Smart Family™. Refer to these FAQs for more info.

Note Notes:

  • Only the Account Owner or an Account Manager with full online access can perform these steps. Here's some additional info on account roles.
  • In order to be located the device must:
    • Be unlocked
    • Be turned on
    • Not be making a voice call.
    • Not be in a weak or poor coverage area.
    • Have sufficient battery strength.

 

  1. From a web browser, sign in to My Verizon.
  2. From the My Verizon Home screen, navigate: Plan > Add-ons and apps.
  3. Click Manage Your Products.
  4. From the 'Family Locator' section, click Manage Family Locator.
  5. Click Members (Located on the left in the Family Locator section).
  6. Click Refresh Locations
  7. Click the desired Family member you wish to locate.
  8. The approximate location displays on the map.
