Add a Place - Family Locator - Website

To add a place via the Family Locator website, view this info.

Caution Family Locator transitions to Verizon Smart Family™ effective 1/24/19. Refer to these FAQs for more info.

Note Only the Account Owner or an Account Manager with full online access can add/delete places. Refer to Account Roles for additional info.

  1. From a computer, visit the Family Locator page.
    Note If necessary, sign in using the User ID or 10-digit mobile number and password then click Sign in.
  2. Click Set Up Arrival and Departure Updates.
  3. Click Places (located in the center in the Family Locator section).
  4. Click Add a place.
    Create New Place
  5. Enter the address in the address field then click the Search icon (located in the upper-right corner).
  6. Click the location (red circle, numbered) on the map.
  7. Click Save.
  8. Click OK.
