My Verizon Website - Manage Service Blocks

If you can't receive messages or download apps, or would like to restrict these functions, view this info.

Note Notes:

  • These steps do not apply to Prepaid accounts.
  • Only the Account Owner or an Account Manager with full online access can add/remove service blocks. Here's some additional info on account roles.

  1. From a web browser, sign in to My Verizon.
  2. From the My Verizon Home page, navigate: Plan > Blocks.
  3. Ensure the appropriate mobile number is selected.
  4. Click the Plus icon + to expand the following sections:
    • Block call & messages: Enter a 10-digit phone number, a memo if desired then click Save.
      Linote Blocks expire after 90 days.
    • Block emails & domains: Enter a 10-digit phone number, a memo if desired then click Save.
    • Block services: Turn the applicable block(s) on or off Turn On or Off.
