Device Software Version 5.x

  1. From the Home screen, press the Menu button.
  2. Select Options.
  3. Select Mobile Network.
  4. Select the current setting in the Data Services field.
  5. Select one of the following settings:
    • On: Data (e.g., email, web browsing, etc.) is enabled.
    • Off: Data is disabled.

  1. If roaming, select the current setting in the While Roaming field.

  1. Select one of the following settings:
    • On: Data (e.g., email, web browsing, etc.) is enabled.
    • Off: Data is disabled.
    • Prompt: A prompt appears when not in a Verizon wireless coverage area.

  1. Press the End key.

  1. From the Home screen All tray, select Options.
    Note To expand the tray, press the Menu button then select Open Tray.

  4. Select the current setting in the Data Services field.
