A wireless device must be idle (not on an active call) in order to register on the Network Extender.
The Network Extender allows up to six active calls. A seventh call channel is reserved to support emergency (E911) calls only.
Ensure the wireless device is located within a 15-foot radius of the Network Extender.
Once registered, coverage is extended up to 5,000 square feet (approximately a 39.5 foot radius) depending on home construction and Network Extender placement.
To actively verify that the device is registered, call #48 to verify the connection.
Dial the 10-digit mobile number then press Send.
A short double tone (beep) heard while placing or receiving a call indicates that the wireless device is under Network Extender coverage.
