Delete Service Books - BlackBerry®

Note To determine the device software version, refer to Finding Device Software Version.

Device Software Version 5.x (and lower)

Note Notes:

  • If on a BlackBerry Enterprise Server (BES), restrictions may be in place that prevent downloading and installing applications. Contact the BES Administrator for assistance.

  • Depending upon device model / software version, the images below may differ.

 

  1. From the Home screen, press the Menu button.
    Note If the device does not have a Menu button, skip to step 2.
  2. Select Options.
    Note If not available, select Settings > Options.
  3. Select Advanced Options.
  4. Select Service Book.
  5. Highlight the applicable Service Book, press the Menu button / trackwheel then select Delete.
    Note Service books applicable to the BlackBerry Internet Service (BIS) contain an email address (e.g. yourusername@vzw.blackberry.net).
  6. Select Delete.
  7. Repeat steps 5 and 6 as necessary until all BIS related service books are removed.

Note To re-send service books, refer to Send Service Books - BlackBerry Support Center (BPSC) for assistance.

  5. Highlight the applicable Service Book, press the Menu button then select Delete.

  7. Repeat steps 5 and 6 as necessary until all BIS related service books are removed.
