Apple® iPad® - Reprovision Cellular Data Account

Note If a Cellular Data activation fails, the account may need to be reprovisioned.

Caution Caution:

  • Before attempting to reprovision the cellular data account, ensure
  • If you use a Network Extender, ensure it is not connected to the iPad while attempting to reprovision account.

  1. From the Home screen, navigate: Settings Settings icon > General > Reset.
  2. Tap Subscriber Services.
  3. If prompted, enter your passcode.
    If the passcode is forgotten, the iPad needs to be restored to original default settings. Refer to Restore your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch for assistance.
  4. Tap Reprovision Account.

Note Notes:

  • The reprovisioning process may take several minutes to complete.
  • Verify the reprovisioning is complete (Verizon and signal bars appear in the status bar) then restart the device before attempting activation.
