Google Play™ Store - Request Refund for Downloaded App

Purchased Less than 48 Hours Ago

  1. Open web browser, navigate to play.google.com/store/account
  2. Tap Order history.
  3. On the order you want to return, swipe left.
  4. Tap the More icon menu icon.
  5. Select 'Request a refund' or 'Report a problem'.
  6. Follow the onscreen instructions to complete your refund.
    Note You'll see a "thank you for sharing your concerns" message. You'll then get an email with your refund decision, usually get this within 15 minutes; however, it can take up to 2 business days.
    Note If you have multiple refund requests, repeat these steps for each individual purchase.

Purchased More than 48 Hours Ago

  1. From the Play Store home screen, tap the Menu icon (upper-left).
  2. Tap My apps & games.
  3. Tap the appropriate app.
  4. From the 'Developer contact' section (at the bottom), tap Email.
  5. Enter the refund request and reason then tap Send.
