Restore Settings to Factory Defaults - Verizon Jetpack™ 4G LTE Mobile Hotspot - 890L

If your Jetpack powers off on its own, crashes and resets, freezes, won't charge or runs slow, view this info.

Caution Restore Settings to Factory Defaults only if absolutely necessary as it removes all modified settings including Network Name (SSID), Wi-Fi/Admin Password, etc.

 

  1. With the device powered on, locate the reset button next to the USB cord connector of the device.
  2. Use an unfolded paper clip or similar object to depress the Reset button for 10 seconds.
    Note Your device will display "Restoring factory settings" and power off and back on again.
    Note After restoring to factory defaults, ensure Power Management Settings are set to the preferred options.

 

Note Alternatively, a restore can also be done as follows:

  1. Access the Admin Web Interface.
  2. Enter the password then select Login.
    The default password is located on a sticker on the back of the device.
  3. Click Advanced.

  4. From the Restore and Reboot tab, click Restore.

  5. Click OK.

    Note Your device displays "Restoring factory settings" and power off and back on again.
