Change data usage cycle

  1. From a Home screen, tap Apps Applications icon (located at the bottom).
  2. From the All Apps tab, tap Settings.
  3. Tap Data usage.
  4. From the Data usage cycle field, tap the drop down menu.
  5. Tap Change cycle.
  6. Tap the appropriate date then tap Set.
    Note Refer to the My Verizon website for billing cycle date.

Set mobile data warning

Note A notification message appears upon reaching the specified data usage level indicated by the orange warning line.

  1. From a Home screen, tap Apps Applications icon (located at the bottom).
  2. From the All Apps tab, tap Settings.
  3. Tap Data usage.
  4. Tap and hold the orange dot located to the right of the warning line.
  5. Drag the warning line to the desired level (e.g. 1.8GB) then release.

Set mobile data limit

Caution Mobile data (cellular data) is disabled upon reaching the specified data usage level indicated by the red limit line. To continue to utilize applications dependant upon a data connection (e.g. Browser, Email, Market, etc.), a Wi-Fi connection can be used or Mobile data must be manually re-enabled (overage charges may apply).

  1. From a Home screen, tap Apps Applications icon (located at the bottom).
  2. From the All Apps tab, tap Settings.
  3. Tap Data usage.
  4. Tap Set mobile data limit.
    Note Enabled when a check mark is present.
  5. If presented, review the message then tap OK.
  6. Tap and hold the red dot located to the right of the limit line.
  7. Drag the limit line to the desired level (e.g. 2.0GB) then release.
    Note Ensure the limit line is within plan allowances.

View data usage by app

  1. From a Home screen, tap Apps Applications icon (located at the bottom).
  2. From the All Apps tab, tap Settings.
  3. Tap Data usage.
  4. Tap an app (located below the usage graph).
  5. View the usage information.
