Remove a Personal Email Account - Samsung Galaxy S® III

Removing then re-adding your email often fixes login and not receiving email issues.

Note The Backup Assistant Plus Email (Sync and Connect) service was discontinued on 3/16/16.

  1. From a Home screen, tap Apps (located in the lower-right).
  2. From the Apps tab, tap Settings.
  3. From the Accounts section, tap Email.
  4. Tap the POP / IMAP account.
  5. Tap Remove account (located in the lower-right).
  6. Tap Remove account.
