USB Debugging Mode - Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0)

If you need to facilitate a connection between your device and a computer with the Android SDK (software development kit), view this info.

Note USB debugging is intended for development purposes only. It can be used to copy data between the computer and the device, install apps on the device without notification, and read log data.

  1. From a Home screen, tap Apps Apps icon.
    Note Located at the bottom when viewed in portrait or at the right in landscape.
  2. From the Apps tab, tap Settings.
  3. Tap the Developer options switch (located in the upper-right) to turn on Developer options On switch or off Developer options Off switch.
  4. Tap USB debugging to enable or disable.
    Note Enabled when a check mark Check box icon is present.
