From a Home screen, tap Apps
(located at the bottom).

From the Apps tab, tap Settings.

Tap Data usage.

From the Data usage cycle field, tap the Dropdown menu.

Tap Change cycle.

Select the appropriate date then tap Set.
Refer to the My Verizon website for billing cycle date.

Set mobile data warning
A notification message appears upon reaching the specified data usage level indicated by the orange warning line.

From a Home screen, tap Apps
(located at the bottom).

From the Apps tab, tap Settings.

Tap Data usage.
-
Tap Set mobile data limit.
Enabled when a check mark is present.

If presented, review the message then tap OK.

Touch and hold the orange flag located to the right of the warning line.

Drag the warning line to the desired level (e.g. 1.8GB) then release.

Set mobile data limit
Mobile data (cellular data) is disabled upon reaching the specified data usage level indicated by the red limit line. To continue to utilize applications dependant upon a data connection (e.g. Browser, Email, Market, etc.), a Wi-Fi connection can be used or Mobile data must be manually re-enabled (overage charges may apply).

(located at the bottom).

From the Apps tab, tap Settings.

Tap Data usage.

Tap Set mobile data limit.
Enabled when a check mark is present.

If presented, review the message then tap OK.

Touch and hold the red flag located to the right of the limit line.

Drag the limit line to the desired level (e.g. 2.0GB) then release.
Ensure the limit line is within plan allowances.
