If apps freeze/hang, your device crashes/resets, you can't view email attachments or website images or your data isn't syncing, wiping your cache partition may help.
Performing a wipe cache partition removes any temporary files that may be causing an issue with the device. All personal files and settings are not affected by this option.
- Power the device off.
- Press and hold the Volume Up and Down button then press the Power button.
- When presented with the Boot Mode Selection Menu, release all buttons.
- Press Volume Down button to select 'Recovery' then press the Volume Up button.
- From the DROID triage screen:
- Press and hold the Volume down button.
- Press and release the Volume up button.
- Release the Volume down button.
- Select wipe cache partition then press the Power button.

- Select reboot system now then press the Power button.
