Note Notes:

  • To share media files, an active Wi-Fi connection must be established. Refer to the following for assistance:
    Wi-Fi On / Off
    Setup Wi-Fi Connection
  • To play or copy media to / from other devices (e.g. computer, TV, etc.), they must be connected to the same Wi-Fi network and may need to be configured for sharing. Refer to the user manual or contact the equipment manufacturer for assistance.

Note Follow these steps to view your entire screen contents on your TV.

  1. From a Home screen, tap Apps (located in the lower-right).
  2. Tap Settings.
  3. Tap More settings.
  4. Tap Nearby devices.
  5. Tap File sharing.
    Note Enabled when a check mark Check box icon is present.

Media Server Settings (DLNA)

Note Configure these settings to share files with a DLNA-enabled device (e.g., TV, game console, etc.). To determine whether your device supports the DLNA standard, see this product database.

  1. From a Home screen, tap Apps (located in the lower-right).
  2. Tap Settings.
  3. Tap More settings.
  4. Tap Nearby devices.
  5. From the Advanced section, select Shared contents.
  6. Select any of the following then select OK:
    Note Enabled when a check mark Check box icon is present.
    • Videos
    • Photos
    • Music
  7. Tap Device name.
  8. Enter a name then select Save.
  9. Tap Access control.
  10. Select one of the following then select OK:
    • Allow all
    • Only allowed devices
  11. Tap Allowed devices list.
  12. View the allowed devices then select OK.
  13. Tap Not-allowed devices list.
  14. View the Not-allowed devices then select OK.
  15. Tap Download to.
  16. Select one of the following:
    • USB storage
    • SD card
  17. Tap Upload from other device.
  18. Select one of the following:
    • Always accept
    • Always ask
    • Always reject
