Adjust Display Settings - Samsung Galaxy Note II

  1. From a Home screen, navigate: Apps Applications icon > Settings > Display.
  2. Tap LED indicator then select desired options (e.g., Charging, Low battery, etc.).
    Note Enabled when a check mark is present.
  3. Tap Notification panel then tap Brightness adjustment to enable or disable.
    Note Enabled when a check mark is present.
  4. To edit the buttons available on the Notification panel, from the Available buttons section drag the preferred button(s) to the Notification panel section.
    Note Maximum buttons available on the Notification panel is 10. When full, available buttons replace existing buttons.
    Note To return Notification panel to defaults, tap Reset then tap OK.
  5. Tap Multi window to enable or disable.
    Note Enabled when a check mark is present.
  6. Tap Screen mode then tap Adapt Display to enable or disable.
    Note Enabled when a check mark is present.
    Note When Adapt Display is disabled, select an option (e.g., Dynamic, Standard, e.g.) then tap Save.
  7. Tap Screen timeout then select an option (e.g. 15 seconds, 1 minute, etc.).
  8. Tap Daydream then tap the Daydream switch (located in the upper-right) to turn on Switch On icon or off Switch Off icon.
    Note When enabled, configure the Daydream settings as preferred.
  9. Tap Smart screen then select an option (Smart rotation or Smart stay).
    Note Enabled when a check mark is present.
  10. Tap Touch key light duration then select an option (1.5 seconds, Always off, etc.).
  11. Tap Display battery percentage to enable or disable.
    Note Enabled when a check mark is present.
