Manage Data Usage - Samsung Galaxy Camera®

To change the data usage cycle on your device, view data usage and set data warnings and restrictions, view this info.

Note Data usage information provided by the device may differ from actual usage. For data usage information provided by Verizon Wireless, refer to the My Verizon website.

  1. From a Home screen, tap Apps (located in the lower-right).
  2. From the Apps tab, tap Settings.
  3. From the Wireless and network section, tap Data usage.

Change data usage cycle

  1. From the Data usage cycle field, tap the Dropdown menu.
  2. Tap Change cycle.
  3. Select the appropriate date then tap Set.
    Note Refer to the My Verizon website for billing cycle date.

Set mobile data warning

Note A notification message appears upon reaching the specified data usage level indicated by the orange warning line.

  1. Touch and hold the red dot located to the right of the warning line.
  2. Drag the warning line to the desired level (e.g. 1.8GB) then release.

Set mobile data limit

Caution Mobile data (cellular data) will be disabled upon reaching the specified data usage level indicated by the red limit line. To continue to utilize apps dependant upon a data connection (e.g., Browser, Email, Google Play Store, etc.), a Wi-Fi connection can be used or Mobile data must be manually re-enabled (overage charges may apply).

  1. Tap Set mobile data limit to enable or disable.
    Note Enabled when a check mark is present.
  2. If presented with the "Limit data usage" prompt, review the message then tap OK.
  3. Touch and hold the red dot located to the right of the limit line.
  4. Drag the limit line to the desired level (e.g. 2.0GB) then release.

  1. Tap an app (located below the usage graph).
  2. View the usage information.
