To change the Advanced Settings (e.g., LAN, Port Filtering, etc.) on your Jetpack, view this info.

Caution Changing advanced settings may be harmful to the stability, performance, and security of the Jetpack. Contact your local IT administrator prior to altering any of these settings.

  1. Access the Admin Web Interface.
  2. From the left menu, click Jetpack Settings.
  3. Click the Advanced tab.
  4. Click OK.
  5. Click any of the following:

 

Networks

Note For information regarding APN settings, refer to Edit Access Point Name (APN).

  1. From the Preferred network technology field, click the drop down menu.
  2. Click the appropriate setting:
    • Global Mode
    • LTE/CDMA Mode
    • GSM/UMTS Mode
      Note The preferred international carrier is automatically selected. You can manually tap an alternate carrier but it may require as many as six registration attempts with that carrier prior to successful registration.
  3. Click Save Changes (located in the lower-right).
  4. Click OK.

Manual DNS

Caution Domain Name Server (DNS) settings are automatically assigned by the device. If enabling manual DNS is necessary, contact your local IT administrator for assistance.

  1. From the DNS 1 IP address and DNS 2 IP address fields, enter the appropriate information.
  2. Click Save Changes (located in the lower-right).
  3. Click OK.

SIM

GPS
 
  1. From the GPS section, click the desired option:
    • Start
      Note Review the 'Caution' information then click Yes as appropriate.
    • Stop
  2. Click Apply (located in the lower-right).
  3. Click OK.

Firewall

  1. From the VPN Passthrough section, click the desired "VPN Passthrough" setting:
    • On (Enabled)
    • Off (Disabled)
  2. From the IPv4 section, click the desired "Enable DMZ" setting.
    • On (Enabled)
    • Off (Disabled)
  3. If DMZ is enabled enter the Destination IP Address.
  4. Click Save Changes.
  5. If prompted, click OK.

LAN

  1. From the IPv4 section, enter the desired information into the following fields:
    • IP address
    • Subnet mask
    • Host Name
    • Enable DHCP server
      Note Enabled when a check mark is present.
    • Start DHCP address range at
  2. From the IPv6 section, click the desired setting:
    • On (Enabled)
    • Off (Disabled)
  3. Click Save Changes (located in the lower-right).
  4. If prompted, click OK.
