Restore Settings to Factory Defaults - Verizon Jetpack® 4G LTE Mobile Hotspot - MHS291L

If your Jetpack powers off on its own, crashes and resets, freezes, won't charge or runs slow, view this info.
 

Caution Restore Settings to Factory Defaults only if absolutely necessary as it:

  • Removes all modified settings including Network Name (SSID), Wi-Fi/Admin Password, etc.
  • Restores the default settings viewable on the external LED of the device.

 

  1. From the Home screen, select Menu.
    Note Utilize the Scroll buttons to highlight and the OK button to select.
  2. Select Software Update.
  3. Select Factory reset.
  4. Select Yes.
    Note After restoring to factory defaults, ensure Power Management Settings are set to the preferred options.

 

Note Alternatively, a restore can also be done as follows:

  1. Access the Admin Web Interface.
  2. From the left menu, click Jetpack Settings.
  3. From the Jetpack tab, click Backup and Restore.
  4. From the "Restore Factory Defaults" section, click the Allow to restore Factory Defaults in Jetpack checkbox.
    Note Enabled when a checkmark is present.
  5. Click Save Changes.
    Note After restoring to factory defaults, ensure Power Management Settings are set to the preferred options.
