Pairing Devices - Verizon Messages - Apple® iPhone®

Note Notes:

  • To receive messages sent to one smartphone on another both devices must have Verizon Messages (Message+) installed.
  • You can sync your phone number with the Verizon website and up to 5 additional devices.
  • Ensure your apps are up to date as the following steps apply to the most recent version.

 

  1. From the Home screen, tap the Verizon Messages app (Message+) Verizon Messages Icon.
  2. If prompted with "Message+' Would Like...", tap an option:
    • Don't Allow
    • Allow
    Tap Allow
  3. Tap Start Messaging.

  4. If prompted with "Message+' Would Like...", tap an option:
    • Don't Allow
    • OK
    Tap Allow
  5. Enter the device name and the 10-digit Verizon Wireless mobile phone number that the device is to be paired with then tap Send Code.

  6. Enter the security code from the text message.

  7. Tap an option to enter a Emergency 911 address and turn on Integrated Calling:
    • Later
    • Update Now
      1. Either tap Locate Me to use your current location or enter an address.
        • If Locate Me is selected tap Allow to give Verizon Messages permission to access your location.
      2. Tap Save (located in upper right).
    Select an Option
  8. If prompted with the What's New screen, review the new features then tap Close.
    Tap Close
