Manage Screen Lock Settings - Samsung Galaxy S® 4

  1. From a Home screen, tap Apps > Settings.
    Note These instructions apply to Standard mode only.
  2. Tap Lock screen.
    Note If unavailable, tap the Menu icon Menu (located at the bottom-left) then tap Switch to list view.
  3. From the "Secured with" section, select any of the following:
    Note Depending upon the screen lock type, the options presented may vary.
    • Lock screen widgets
      • Clock or personal message
      • Dual clock
      • Clock size
      • Show date
      • Owner information
    • Phone Shortcut
      Note Enabled when a check mark is present.
    • Camera shortcut
      Note Enabled when a check mark is present.
    • Make pattern visible
      Note Enabled when a check mark is present.
    • Lock automatically
      • Immediately
      • 5 seconds
      • 15 seconds
      • 30 seconds
      • 1 minute
      • 2 minutes
      • 5 minutes
      • 10 minutes
      • 30 minutes
    • Lock instantly with power key
      Note Enabled when a check mark is present.
    • Auto factory reset
      Caution The device resets to the factory default condition if the password is entered incorrectly 10 times. All data including the Google account, system data, app data, app settings, downloaded apps, media (pictures, videos, and music) is removed.
