Samsung Galaxy S® 4 - Remove Corporate Email Account (Exchange ActiveSync®)

Removing then re-adding your corporate email account (Exchange ActiveSync) often fixes login and not receiving email issues.


  • Contact the Exchange / IT Administrator for assistance with server info and credentials.
  • Account synchronization may take several minutes.

  1. From a Home screen, tap Apps (located in the lower-right).
    Note These instructions apply to Standard mode only.
  2. Tap Settings.
  3. Tap Microsoft Exchange Activesync.
    Note If unavailable, tap the Menu icon Menu (located at the bottom-left) then tap Switch to list view.
  4. Select the Exchange ActiveSync account.
    Note The accounts listed may vary.
  5. Tap the Menu icon Menu (located at the bottom left).
  6. Tap Remove account.
  7. Tap Remove account to confirm.
