Verizon Cloud - Android™ Smartphone - Manage Photos / Videos

Note Notes:

  • Ensure your Verizon Cloud app is up to date as the steps below apply to the most recent version.
  • Images may differ depending on the manufacturer.

 

  1. From the Home screen, tap the Apps icon.
    Note If not available, swipe up from the center of the display to access the apps screen.
  2. Tap the Verizon Cloud icon Verizon Cloud.
  3. Tap the Navigation Menu icon (upper-left).

  4. Tap Photos & Videos.
    Tap Photos & Videos
  5. Select a sorting option:
    • All
      Note To change the display option:
      1. Tap the Contextual Menu icon Contextual Menu (upper-right).
      2. Tap Sort & Filter.
      3. Tap an option then tap OK.
        • Sort By (e.g., Date Taken, Date Uploaded, etc.)
          Note Selected when a red circle present.
        • File Types (e.g., Photos, Videos, etc.)
          Note Selected when a checkmark present.
    • Flashbacks
    • Stories
    • Albums
  6. Perform one of the following:

View Flashbacks

Note Flashbacks are pictures that are stored in your Verizon Cloud that are at least a year old.

 

Select Flashbacks then tap an image

View Stories

Note Notes:

  • Only pictures with the .jpg (.jpeg) file extension are used to create Smart Folders.
  • During the initial backup, a folder must have at least 5 pictures in .jpg (.jpeg) format and 90% of the pictures must be in the .jpg (.jpeg) format to generate a Smart Folder.
  • If more pictures are added to an existing folder that had less than 5 pictures in it during the initial backup a Smart Folder is still not created. Creation of a new folder is required.
  • New folders being backed up must have at least 5 pictures in the .jpg (.jpeg) format and 90% of the pictures must be in the .jpg (.jpeg) format.

 

  1. Select Stories then tap a story.
    Tap Stories
  2. Tap the Play Story icon.
    Tap the Play Story Icon
  3. If prompted, tap Download RealTimes to download the required RealTimes player app.
  4. If prompted, tap Got It (lower-right).
  5. View the story then tap the Back arrow Back Arrow (upper-left) to return to Verizon Cloud.

Add a Photo/Video to Album

  1. Select All then tap the Contextual Menu icon (upper-right).
    All Photos Menu
  2. Tap Select Content.
  3. Tap picture(s) or video(s) then tap the Contextual Menu icon.
    Note Selected when image turns red.
  4. Tap Add to Album.
  5. Tap the desired album.

Remove Picture or Video from Album

  1. Select Albums then tap an album.
    Albums
  2. Tap the Contextual Menu icon Contextual Menu (upper-right).
  3. Tap Select Content.
  4. Tap picture(s) or video(s) then tap the Contextual Menu icon.
    Note Selected when image turns red.
  5. Tap Remove from Album.
  6. When prompted with 'Remove from Album', tap Yes.

Delete an Album

  1. Select Albums then tap Contextual Menu icon (upper-right).

  2. Tap Select Albums.
  3. Tap an album then tap the Contextual Menu icon.
    Note Selected when album turns red.
  4. Tap Delete.
  5. When prompted with 'Delete', tap Yes.

Add  to Favorites

Tap an image to open then tap the Star icon (bottom-center).
Note Favorite when star is solid black.

Download and Restore

  1. Select All then tap the Contextual Menu icon (upper-right).

  2. Tap Select Content.
  3. Tap picture(s) or video(s) then tap the Contextual Menu icon.

Delete a Photo/Video

Edit a Photo

  1. Tap an image to open then tap the Edit icon (bottom-left).

  2. Tap an editing option (bottom):
    Edit Options
    • Crop
    • Colors
    • Stickers
    • Rotation
  3. Edit as desired then tap the Checkmark Check Icon (upper-right).
  4. Tap Save (upper-right) then tap the Back Arrow Back Arrow (upper-left).

 

Create Photo Collage

  1. Select All then tap the Contextual Menu icon (upper-right).
    All Photos Menu
  2. Tap Select Content.
  3. Tap 2 or more pictures then tap the Contextual Menu icon.
    Note Selected when image turns red.
  4. Tap Create Collage.
  5. Tap Edit.

  6. Adjust the image layout.
    Note To change the image layout tap either the left or right arrow.
  7. Remove any unwanted pictures then tap Done.
    Note The picture is removed from the collage if the checkmark is not highlighted.

  8. Tap Save (upper-right) then tap the Back Arrow Back Arrow (upper-left).
