View Battery Status - DROID RAZR M by MOTOROLA / Luge™ by Motorola

Note Apps and processes are listed from highest to lowest percentage of power consumption. Review any high or unusual battery drain.

  1. From a Home screen, tap Apps Apps icon (located at the bottom).
  2. From the Apps tab, tap Settings.
  3. Tap Battery.
  4. Review the current battery status.
    Note The battery graph is displaying the time since it was last charged to 100%.
    Device is not charging
    Charging (USB)
    Charging at a lower rate
    Charging (AC)
    Charging at standard rate (preferred method)

  5. Review the battery usage (e.g. Wi-Fi, Android OS, Phone, etc.).

  6. Tap the battery graph.

  7. View the following battery information:
    • Battery usage line graph
      • Displays basic battery discharge/charge since the last full charge.
    • Mobile network signal
      Note Signal strength will have an affect on battery life.
      Green Very good signal
      Gray Good signal
      Gold Poor to moderate signal
      Yellow No Signal
      Red Scanning for signal
      Black Radio is off
    • Wi-Fi, Awake, Screen on, and Charging
      Wi-Fi radio is on/off.
      Running tasks/application (screen may not be on)
      Screen on
      Screen is visible (not in standby)
      Indicates when the device is being charged
      Note Will show periods of partial charging since the last complete charge.
      Blue On
      Black Off
    Battery Manager
