The PIN Unblocking Key (PUK) is utilized to reset a blocked SIM card.
For Postpaid accounts, you must obtain the PUK via the My Verizon website before proceeding.
For Prepaid accounts, contact customer service to obtain the PUK before proceeding.
From the Start screen, swipe left to display the applications list.
Alternatively, tap the right arrow icon (located in the lower-right; may require scrolling)
If already prompted to Enter PUK code, skip to step 6.
Tap More ( located in the lower-right).
Tap the SIM security switch.
Enter the 8-digit PUK obtained from Verizon Wireless then tap enter (located to the right, above the numeric keypad).
If an invalid PUK is entered too many times, the SIM card is permanently disabled.
Enter a new SIM PIN (4 to 8-digits) then tap enter.
