Initial Setup - Kid's Corner - Nokia Lumia 928

Note Kid's Corner is a location on the device where children can play with only the games, applications, music and videos that the user adds to Kid's Corner. Children flick the Lock Screen to access their own personal Start screen, which can be customized by the user. Kid's Corner operates above the Lock screen so children cannot change Start screen Tiles or have access to the device's applications or files outside of the Kid's Corner environment.

  1. From the Start screen, swipe left to display the applications list.
    Note Alternatively, select the right arrow ( Right arrow icon located in the lower-right; may require scrolling to the bottom of the Start screen).
  2. Select Settings.
  3. Select kid's corner.
  4. Select Next (located in the lower-left).
  5. Select one of the following:
    • Games
    • Videos
    • Music
    • Apps
  6. Select (check) the the desired games, videos, music files or apps then select Save (check mark icon located at the bottom).
    linote To add additional content items, repeat steps 5 and 6.
  7. Select Next.
  8. Select skip (located in the lower-right).
    linote To set a lock screen password, select set password then refer to Enable / Disable the Device Password for assistance.
    linote If a lock screen password has already been setup on the device, the Kid's Corner password is the same password from lock screen settings.
  9. Select finish.
  10. From the 'Kid's Corner' screen, swipe up to access Kid's Corner.
  11. Select OK.

Note To exit Kid's Corner, press the power button to turn the display off.
