Display Settings - BlackBerry® Q10

  1. From the home screen, select Settings.
    Note If not available, swipe down from the top of the display (where the time is located).
  2. Select Display.
  3. Select the 'Wallpaper' Select button (located in the upper-right).
  4. Select a wallpaper image.
    Note To select a personal image, select Up (located in the lower-left) then navigate to and select the image.
  5. Select the 'Font Size' drop down menu.
  6. Select the desired size (e.g. 5, 6, 7, 14, 16, 18).
  7. From the 'Brightness Settings' section, adjust the brightness level.
    Note Select and hold the indicator then drag to the desired position.
  8. From the 'Screen Lock' section, select the 'Screen Lock Timeout' drop down menu.
  9. Select one of the following:
    • 10 Seconds
    • 20 Seconds
    • 30 Seconds
    • 1 Minute
    • 90 Seconds
    • 2 Minutes
    • 3 Minutes
    • 5 Minutes
  10. Select the 'Swipe to Wake' On/Off switch.
    Note If disabled, the Power button must be utilized to wake the device when it's locked.
    • On (Enabled)
    • Off (Disabled)
  11. If applicable, enter a display message into the following fields:
    Note If entered, the message will display on the screen when the device is locked.
