Verizon Smart Family™ - Website - Restart Restrictions After a 911 Call

Note Notes:

  • When a child device dials 911, existing call restrictions are subsequently disabled and must be reset via the My Verizon website or Verizon Smart Family app (Apple® iOS or Android®).
  • To perform the steps below, you need to:
    • use a tablet, desktop or laptop computer with an up to date web browser (e.g., Chrome™, Edge, Firefox®, Safari®, etc.)
    • sign in using a My Verizon user ID or mobile number that has Account Owner or Manager access privileges.
    • ensure the child device is powered off prior to adding or removing blocks, restrictions, limits, etc.

  1. From a web browser, sign in to My Verizon.
  2. Fromthe My Verizon home scree, navigate: Plan > My Plan & Services > Manage Verizon Smart Family.
  3. From the '[Child] called 911...' prompt, click Take action.
  4. Click Enable.
  5. Click Ok.
