To share media files, an active Wi-Fi connection must be established. Refer to the following for assistance:

To play or copy media to / from other devices (e.g., computer, TV, etc.), they must be connected to the same Wi-Fi network and may need to be configured for sharing. Refer to the user manual or contact the equipment manufacturer for assistance.

To view your smartphone's screen via an external display, a compatible HDTV or a wireless display adapter (e.g., Chromecast™) is required. A wireless display adapter can be purchased from any Verizon Wireless retail store or at the online store.

Some apps (e.g., YouTube™, Netflix®, etc.) support displaying the app contents on a remote display. Within the app, tap the Cast icon
then select the desired display from the list.

Swipe down on the Status bar (at the top).

Swipe down from the top of the display to expand the quick settings menu.

Tap Screen Mirroring.
If not available, swipe left to view additional quick settings.

Tap Scan.

Select the external display device from the list.
If not available, ensure your TV/external display supports screen sharing and that it's turned on.

From a Home screen, tap Apps
(lower-right).
These instructions only apply to Standard mode and the default Home screen layout.

Tap Gallery

If necessary, choose the appropriate album or navigate to the image/video location.

Select a picture or video to view.

Tap the Share icon
(at the top).
If necessary, tap the screen to display the options.

Tap Share to device.
-
Select the desired external display from the list.
