TTY Settings - Samsung Galaxy S® 4 mini

Note When TTY (teletypewriter) settings are enabled, you can use your phone with a TTY device if you're deaf or hard of hearing.

  1. From a home screen, tap Phone (located in the lower-left).
    Note If not available, navigate Apps > Phone.
  2. From the "Keypad" tab (located in the upper-left), tap Menu Menu (located in the lower-left; below the display).
  3. Tap Call Settings.
  4. From the "Other call settings" section, tap TTY mode.
  5. Select one of the following:
    TTY Off
    Disables all TTY settings
    TTY Full
    Enables all TTY settings
    TTY HCO
    Enables HCO (Hearing Carry Over)
    TTY VCO
    Enables VCO (Voice Carry Over)
