Check from Your Phone via the Visual Voicemail App

  1. From a Home screen, navigate: Apps Apps icon > Voicemail Visual Voice Mail icon.
  2. From the Visual Voicemail inbox, tap a message.
  3. Note If voicemail doesn't automatically start, tap Play.
    Note If using Premium Visual Voicemail, view the text of the Voicemail (at the top).
  4. To enable or disable the speakerphone, tap the Speaker icon (lower-right).
    Note Enabled when a blue indicator is present.

Check from Your Phone (If No Data or Wi-Fi Connection is Available)

  1. From a Home screen, tap Phone (lower-left).
    Note If not available, navigate Apps Apps icon > Phone.
  2. From the Keypad tab (located at the bottom), touch and hold 1 (One).
    Note If prompted with "Choose Voicemail", tap Voicemail.
    Note Alternatively, enter *86 then select the Phone symbol Phone icon (bottom).
  3. If prompted, enter the applicable password.

Check from a Different Phone or when Outside the Verizon wireless coverage area

  1. Call your 10-digit mobile number.
    Note If dialing from an international location, refer to Place an International Call for additional assistance.
  2. As soon as the Voicemail greeting starts, press the # key then enter the Voicemail password.
    Note If prompted, re-enter the mobile number.
