Turn Android Beam On / Off - DROID Mini / DROID Ultra / DROID Maxx by Motorola

Note Android Beam can be utilized to transfer data (e.g. Web pages, videos, place page in Maps) from one Near Field Communication (NFC) capable device to another when only a few centimeters apart, typically back to back.

  1. From a home screen, select Apps Applications icon (located at the bottom).

  2. From the Apps tab, select Settings.

  3. Select More.

  4. Ensure NFC is enabled.
    Note Enabled when a check mark Check box icon is present.

  5. If presented with NFC warning screen, configure Never ask this again as appropriate then select Yes to continue.

  6. Select Android Beam.

  7. Select the Android Beam switch (located in the upper right) to enable On indicator or disable Off indicator.
