Siri Settings - Apple® iPhone® 5c

Note Siri uses voice recognition to send messages, schedule meetings, place phone calls, etc.

  1. From the Home screen, navigate: Settings Settings icon > Siri.
  2. Tap the Siri switch to turn on Switch On.
  3. If prompted, tap Enable Siri.
  4. Tap the Access on Lock Screen switch to turn on Switch On or off Switch Off.
  5. If available, tap the Allow "Hey Siri" switch to turn on or off.
  6. Tap Language and select the language then tap Back icon Siri (located in the upper-left).
    Note Selected when a check mark is present.
  7. Tap Siri Voice and select the accent and gender then tap Back icon Siri (located in the upper-left).

  8. Tap Voice Feedback and select the feedback option then tap Back icon Siri (located in the upper-left).
    Note Selected when a check mark is present.
  9. Tap My Info then tap the desired contact.
  10. Tap Back icon Siri (located in the upper-left) to return to the previous screen.
  11. Tap App Support.
    Note This will allow your information (location, nicknames, things you say, etc.) to be transmitted to Apple so you can use Siri within certain apps.
