DROID MINI / DROID ULTRA / DROID MAXX by MOTOROLA - Touchless Control

Touchless Control is a separate application from Google Voice Search. Touchless Control waits for the launch phrase, 'OK Google Now' and then executes the command or sends the request to Google Voice Search.

  1. From a home screen, select Apps Applications icon (located at the bottom).

  2. From the Apps tab, select Settings.

  3. Select Touchless Control.

  4. Select Touchless Control to enable or disable.
    Note Enabled when a check mark is present.

  5. Training the device:
    1. Select Train launch phrase.

    2. Select Record or Re-record

    3. Holding the phone away from your face, when prompted say OK Google Now.
      Note Currently, setting a personal trigger phrase is not available.

    4. When prompted, select Continue
      Note Repeat steps 3 & 4 as required.

    5. Select Done.

  6. Select Launch when the display is off to enable or disable.
    Note Enabled when a check mark is present.

  7. Select Call while locked to enable or disable.

  8. Select Confirm before calling.

  9. Select one of the following:
    • Always place call without confirming
    • Confirm based on calling history
    • Always ask before placing a call
