DROID MINI / DROID ULTRA / DROID MAXX by MOTOROLA - Manage Data Usage

 

Note Notes:

  • Data usage info provided by the device may differ from actual usage. For data usage info provided by Verizon, call #DATA (#3282) from the device or refer to the My Verizon website.

  • To control data usage on your account, refer to Verizon Smart Family™.

 

 

  1. From a Home screen, tap Apps Apps icon (bottom).
  2. From the Apps tab, tap Settings.
  3. Tap Data usage then do any of the following:
    • Change Data Usage Cycle:
      1. From the Data usage cycle field, tap the Dropdown menu Drop down menu icon.
      2. Tap Change cycle.
      3. Select the appropriate date then tap Set.
        Note Refer to the My Verizon website for billing cycle date.
    • Set Mobile Data warning:
      Note A notification message appears upon reaching the specified data usage level indicated by the orange warning line.
      1. Tap Set mobile data limit to turn on Check box icon.
      2. If presented, review the message then tap OK.
      3. Touch and hold the orange flag located to the right of the warning line.
      4. Drag the warning line to the desired level (e.g., 1.8 GB, etc.) then release.
    • Set Mobile Data Limit:
      Caution Mobile / Cellular data is disabled upon reaching the specified data limit. To continue to use apps that require a data connection (e.g., Browser, Email, etc.), Wi-Fi can be used or the mobile data limit must be manually adjusted (overage charges may apply).
      1. Tap Set mobile data limit to turn on Check box icon.
      2. If presented, review the message then tap OK.
      3. Touch and hold the red flag located to the right of the limit line.
      4. Drag the limit line to the desired level (e.g., 2.0 GB, etc.) then release.
