Note OneDrive is part of Windows Live, a password-protected web service provided by Microsoft. To access OneDrive via a computer, navigate to https://onedrive.live.com.

Take and Send a New Picture

  1. Press the camera key (located on the right-side).

  2. Aim then press and hold the camera key to take the picture.

  3. Swipe right to view the picture that was just captured.
    Note From portrait view (device oriented vertically), swipe down.
  4. Tap and hold the picture.
    Note Alternatively, tap More More icon (located in the upper-right in landscape view or in the lower-right in portrait view).
  5. Tap save to OneDrive.
    Note If not available, ensure that you have signed in with a Microsoft Account.
  6. Tap upload (located in the lower-left).
    Note To add a caption, tap the add a caption field then enter the caption.

Send a Picture From the Device Memory

  1. From the Start screen, swipe left to display the apps list.
    Note Alternatively, tap the right arrow Right arrow icon (located in the lower-right; may require scrolling to the bottom of the Start screen).
  2. Tap Photos.
  3. Select one of the following options:
    • camera roll
    • albums
    • date
  4. If applicable, select the appropriate picture folder (e.g., Camera Roll, Saved Pictures, etc.)
  5. Tap a picture.
  6. Tap More More icon (located in the lower-right).
  7. Tap save to OneDrive.
    Note If not available, ensure that you have signed in with a Microsoft Account.
  8. Tap upload (located in the lower-left).
    Note To add a caption, tap the add a caption field then enter the caption.
