Enable / Disable App - HTC One®

Some apps that come pre-installed (e.g., calculator, Google Play™ Store, Verizon Cloud, Call Filter, etc.) on your Android™ device can't be uninstalled; however, they can be disabled (turned off) so they don't appear in the list of apps on your device.

Note The option to enable or disable an app may only be available for apps that can't be uninstalled.

Enable App

  1. From a Home screen, navigate: Apps Apps icon > Settings.
Note If unavailable, tap the Apps dropdown menu Apps dropdown menu icon (upper-left) then tap Alphabetical. If still unavailable, refer to Manage App Icons.
  2. Tap App manager.
  3. Swipe left to access the Disabled screen then select an app.
  4. Tap Enable.
