  1. From a home screen, select Apps.
    Note The center icon at the bottom (in portrait) or at the right (in landscape).
  2. From the Apps tab, select Settings.
  3. Select Security
  4. Select any of the following:
    Note Depending upon the type of Screen lock, the available options vary.
    • With swipe lock
      Note You enable it with a blue check mark.
    • Lock screen options
      Note With swipe lock must be enabled.
      • Shortcuts
      • Information ticker
      • Clock
        Note You enable it with a blue check mark.
      • Dual clock
      • Weather
      • Ripple effect
        Note You enable it with a blue check mark.

  5. Select Back Back button icon (located at the bottom).
  6. Select Security.
  7. Select Make passwords visible to enable or disable.
