From the home screen, select Settings. If not available, swipe down from the top of the display (where the time is located).
Select BlackBerry Balance. If prompted, enter the work space password then select OK.
From the 'Personal App Connections' section, select the 'Allow Personal Apps to Use Work Networks' On/Off switch to enable or disable . Personal apps use the available mobile or Wi-Fi work network. Depending on your organization's policies, Internet services may be restricted or monitored.
To change the BlackBerry Balance password (Workspace password), select Change Password from the 'Work Password' section.
Enter the current password then select OK.
From the 'Set Work Space Password' screen, enter a password into the following fields: If necessary, select Password Rules to view password requirements.
To utilize the newly created Work Space Password as the device password, select (check) Use as device password. Using the same password to lock or unlock the device and access your Work Space may not be permitted by your BES administrator.
Select OK. Allow several minutes for the activation process to complete.
Select the 'Use as my device password' On/Off switch to enable or disable .
Select the 'Lock work space after' drop down menu. Sets the length of time before the work space locks.
