View via HDMI Cable

Note A compatible HDMI cable is required and must be purchased separately.

  1. Using a compatible HDMI cable, connect the BlackBerry to an external display device (e.g. HDTV, projector, etc.).
  2. Configure the external display device as appropriate.
    Note This may involve changing the input source to HDMI. Contact the equipment manufacturer for assistance.
    Note If no image appears on the external display device after completing steps 1 and 2, the BlackBerry smartphone's HDMI display mode settings may need to be changed.
  3. View Pictures/Videos.


View via Miracast (Wireless Display)

Note A Miracast-enabled HDTV or a wireless display adapter is required to view your smartphone's screen via an external display. A wireless display adapter can be purchased from any Verizon Wireless retail store or at the online store.

  1. From the Home screen, select Settings.
    Note If not available, swipe down from the top of the display (where the time is located).
  2. Select Display.
  3. From the Miracast section (located at the bottom), select Share Screen.
  4. From the "Select a device to show on" screen, select a wireless display.
  5. View Pictures/Videos.
