Block / Unblock Numbers - Samsung Galaxy S® 4

Note Calls from contacts or phone numbers added to the reject list are automatically ignored and the call is forwarded to voicemail.

Add Block

  1. From a Home screen, tap Phone (lower-left).
    Note If not available, navigate Apps > Phone.
  2. Tap the Menu icon Menu icon (bottom-left).
  3. Tap Settings.
  4. Tap Call.
  5. Tap Call rejection.
  6. Tap Auto reject list.
  7. If desired, tap Unknown number to block calls from unknown numbers.
    Note Enabled when a check mark is present.
  8. To add a contact or number to the list, tap the Add icon + (upper-right).
  9. Enter the 10-digit phone number.
    Note Alternatively, tap the Contacts icon (upper-right) to search and select a contact.
    Note To refine the block, tap Match Criteria then select one of the following options:
    • Exactly the same as
    • Starts with
    • Ends with
    • Includes
  10. Tap Save (upper-right).

Remove Block

  1. From a Home screen, tap Phone (lower-left).
    Note If not available, navigate Apps > Phone.
  2. Tap the Menu icon Menu icon (bottom-left).
  3. Tap Settings.
  4. Tap Call.
  5. Tap Call rejection.
  6. Tap Auto reject list.
  7. To remove a contact or number from the list, tap the Trashcan icon (upper-right).
  8. Select the contact(s).
    Note Selected when a check mark is present.
  9. Tap the Trashcan icon
    Note To disable a number on the list without deleting it, uncheck the box next to the preferred entry.
