Block / Unblock Numbers - Samsung Galaxy Note® 3

Note Calls from contacts or phone numbers added to the reject list are automatically ignored and the call is forwarded to voicemail.

Add Block

  1. From a Home screen, tap Phone (lower-left).
    Note If not available, navigate Apps > Phone.
  2. Tap the Menu icon Menu icon (lower-left; below the display).
  3. Tap Settings.
  4. Tap Call.
  5. Tap Call rejection.
  6. To set which call types are auto-rejected, tap Auto reject mode and then select the desired option:
    • Off
    • All incoming calls.
    • Auto reject numbers.
  7. If desired, tap Auto reject list then tap Unknown number to reject calls from unknown numbers.
    Note Enabled when a check mark is present.
  8. Tap Auto reject list to view or edit the list as desired.
  9. Tap the Add icon + sign (upper-right).
  10. Enter the 10-digit phone number.
    Note Alternatively, tap the Contacts icon (upper-right) to search and select a contact.
    Note To refine the block, tap Match Criteria then select one of the following options:
    • Exactly the same as
    • Starts with
    • Ends with
    • Includes
  11. Tap Save (upper-right).

Remove Block

  2. Tap the Menu icon Menu icon (lower-left; below the display).
  3. Tap Settings.
  4. Tap Call.
  5. Tap Call rejection.
  6. Tap the Trashcan icon (upper-right).
  7. Select the contact(s).
    Note Selected when a check mark is present.
  8. Tap the Trashcan icon.
    Note To disable a number on the list without deleting it,  uncheck the box next to the desired entry.
